Abandon Hope

Here’s a principle to keep in mind when filing a protest with the feds – if you bring up protest points A, B and C in your protest, and the government responds to A, B and C with an explanation – you have to address all the points in your rebuttal. If you don’t, the GAO will assume that you have “abandoned” the protest point you failed to address, and you lose that argument by definition. Here’s another case where that happened. I wonder what kind of discussion then ensues between the protestor and the high-priced law team he paid big money to to pursue the protest. Hey, let me take a look at it – I won’t make such a rookie mistake, and I’m a lot cheaper than Arnold, Porter or whoever else you paid for this.
